The word “S’Myelin” comes from two words: “Smile” and “Myelin”. Myelin is a protective covering around all of our nerves inside our central nervous system, but in MS, our

immune systems, for some weird reason, looks at myelin as a predator and attacks it – leaving patients with over 95 symptoms.

I thought I’d take a bad situation and make it into a positive one by always having a smile on my face and, therefore, keep s’myelin ☺

Since it was my goal to create MS awareness on social media, I now made it a priority to help other businesses and non-profits raise awareness too. Besides, it can be pretty challenging to stand out on social media.
